About Me:
About the AuthorHACK
Also Known As: More reasons to run as far away from here as humanly possible.
Friend Requests:
I cannot stress this part enough. I just don't approve random friend requests. Never. I don't want numbers. And my affiliation means something. If you typically don't ever intend to message me, or read my blog, and vice versa with me to you, you probably should not request.
Preface:
"I'm boring, and dour. I don't expect much excited traffic through here."
Pwned Word of the Week
Yes, I run this institution. Perhaps that is how you've come through here. If you'd like a word considered for the Word of the Week, you can submit it to me via private message. It must be unique to Pwned.com and not be published anywhere else on a messageboard, webpage, or article. The word has to have been coined on Pwned.com. And yes, the Shout Box is a valid source. If possible credit the originator of the word. Most words will not be considered without the credit.
Ciriculum Vitae:
I don't live at the location provided above. Why? I'm a NATO laboratory technician in a Role ___ hospital within the borders of the declared as independent, Republic of Kosova. I'm here to support the UNMIK. That's about all I care to say, and am able to say. You can Google, or Wikipedify either for further reading. They're not who I am.
Going through a rough time with my family, I have a wife and two daughters. They are very important to me. In recent months though, I cope by distracting myself from my problems. Feel free to criticise me for that. I miss my four canine children as well. I'm missing a significant chunk of their lives.
Aside from that I am trying to break into the publishing industry. It is quite hard to say the least. My preferred media:
* Novel
* Short Story
* Play (CURRENT PROJECT)
* Graphic Storytelling
* Screenplay
* Webisodic Series
* Rudimentary Interactive Storytelling (C64 Software)
Latest and Not-so-latest Obsessions:
I'm very partial to the art of Lisa Snellings. For a bit of the creatively morbid and/or intellectually semi-macabre. I simply cannot wait to see what she does with Neil Gaiman's bees.
Getting a Nintendo DS, someday, hopefully.
As well as the PS3.
And re-obtain the original XBox.
Stick a Wii in here too, mostly 'No More Heroes', and 'Endless Ocean' to blame.
Wish I was a PC gamer. I don't have the resources to have a devoted gaming rig though.
Since my life can't accommodate gaming like it used to, I'm not really a gamer anymore. I'm fascinated by gaming journalism now more than ever.
I'm currently working on my breakout article on gaming culture and the mainstream concept of "art". What do games need to be, and where must they fundamentally go for even the biggest detractors to say a game is "art"?
