Been a gamer since my uncle bought an Atari 2600 back when they were still new. I was still in elementary school at the time. Graduated to a 5200 in high school. Started playing Arcade stuff until Gauntlet came out. Had to quit because it was just too expensive. lol Moved to computer games when a friend introduced me to Ultima 4.
Eventually got my first computer a Commodore Amiga 2000 and proceeded to get into games like Gunship, Pirates, Mechwarrior(the first one), Wing Commander, Frontier:Elite 2, etc. First moved into online games after I got out of the Army with a game called Island of Kesmai. A MUD style game that ran on Compuserve back when it charged for access time by the minute. 8D $300 every 2 weeks for internet was pretty insane.
Took a break for a few years when my first daughter was born in 1994.Came back to gaming as a beta tester for one of Mythic's first online games Magestorm an FPS with character development. Soon after I got into MechCommander as my first RTS and immediately joined a online gaming league called Starlance. I spent several years in the league with an awesome strategic campaign that involved actually fighting over territory(based on the Battletech universe). Eventually became a league admin for it's offshoot that handled Star Fleet command and ran the House of Chang.
I later moved into MMO's with my wife who's an avid console gamer and loves platformer's. We started with DAOC and played it until WoW was released. We're both still playing and spend a lot of time playing games on the 360 with our kids.
