MadHatter
Ello there, the name would be Kaleigh
. Pleased to meet your acquaintance.
You could describe me as a lot of things. I'm strange, classy, a nerd, modest, a Christian, goody-two-shoes, a romantic, smart, fun, hyper, contemplative, and just plain ole' me. I don't go under any certain label, I wear, speak like, and do whatever I feel is me. I won't become a robot for you, and I wont conform to whatever this world wants me to be that week.
Like I said before I am a Christian. I love Jesus with all my heart, he'll always be #1 in my life. Everything is owed to him for dieing for me so I can live a wonderful life.
I like video games (duh), reading, music, art, poetry and other forms of literature, vintage and retro fashion, everything steampunk, 1940's and 50's pin ups, WWII and much much more.
I think I have said enough for now, auf wiedersehen, au revoir, arrivederci.
Hi MadHatter, thanks for the accept on the add request. and also thanks for that zombie gif pic you have. Very nice. Hows things goin for you on this site?
Hey and you're welcome! Things are going ok. I am hardly on here anymore truthfully. Just enough to check if I have gotten messages. How about you? :)
NUPE! Iwo Jima was 1944-1945. The turning point according to some historians was Midway Island, but the true turning point was Guadalcanal.
THINK FAST, THE TURNING POINT IN THE PACIFIC WAR WAS.....? :D
I've got the Oxford Complete Guide to WWII. Over 1000 pages of so-small-it-makes-your-eyes-bleed text.
Nice I need that. I have World War II by Ronald Heiferman it's 252 HUGE pages haha and tiny font :). It was my grandfather's.

Good enough for me. More than most other people would have gotten, honestly.
Not bad. Answers, in order, were:
Omaha Beach
Operation Overlord
Calais, France
Operation Torch
Case White (alternatively, Fall Weisse)
Operation Barbarossa
ORLY...now no cheating...
What was the name of the beach the Americans invaded during D-Day?
What was the name given to the invasion of Normandy?
As early as six hours before the invasion began, where were the troops TOLD they were going, instead of Normandy?
What was the name given to the invasion of North Africa?
What was the name given to the German invasion of Poland?
Was was the name given to the German invasion of the Soviet Union?
Go! And remember, no Wiki! :D
