It was an 8-bit game but they eventually made some for the SNES, the PS1, PS2, PC, and now the Xbox 360. Some installments were even on the DS and I think they have some on the Wii. Not bad for an epic franchise that started with a company making their last game before closing down. Good thing for us the game was such a hit that they are coming out with Final Fantasy XIII-2 soon or you can play XIV (which is an MMO) on PC.

They aso made for the original gameboy, and not mention the rereleases of the original NES titles on the PSP and mobile phones. I am looking forward to see XII-2' and to see XIII Versus if this title is still happening. As for XIV MMO, I felt it is was way to buggy and stop playing it altogether. IMO I feel they don't need to do MMO's, but that is just my opinion.

Versus XIII has just entered full production, XI online was amazing if only their price model were cheaper (12 bucks monthly, plus an extra buck per extra char/month) and available on PS3 I would play it.
