Trading Post Board

Would you guys be interested in a "Trading Post" type section?
A place where you can unload some of your unwanted gamer/geek belongings to fellow pwners?
You could trade, buy and sell or heck even give away unwanted or extra games, controllers, custom cases, anything really.
There would be no blame on us, as a site, and everything would be up to the individuals, we would however ban users who misuse the feature, or try to moderate bad situations into favorable situations. Would you guys be interested?

I wouldn't be on the selling side, but I'm always on the lookout for getting more games.

Maybe some integration with another site? That is already established with trading/gifting i.e. Steamgifts?? That would be a plus.

That is a rushed question Nick. Just as this forum thread is a feeler for approval from members. The staff already want this to happen.
So...

It will take some time, hopefully not to much time though. As I also have trades I would like to test out and see what happens.

It is all about finding the right integration and if it can work in something like this forum. It just wouldn't feel to secure, nor does this forum get much use. So it would be surprising to see how this will work.

I personally would not bank games from Steam/Console to trade in here this summer though. If it happens by then, fuuuuu awesome. I cannot see it happening, far to much shit to get in order. But this is a thing that is needed and is wanted by staff. So it will get done at some time or another. Hopefully that another isn't three years down the road... -_- But at least this year

Yah I know what you mean, it will take time...But It will be a nice attraction to the site and will defiantly use it! Rven if it takes a year or so, its not a big deal

that is the big "IF" I can say it is being looked at or this thread wouldn't be here. And that there is no promises for it to happen. But everyone would like to see it happen. So with that, I personally would bank on it happening, just without a time frame to get it done. And if it doesn't happen. Well don't have your heart set upon it to. But if the staff can do something, this is something they should do. And will do if they can.

If it is confirmed, it will get posted as such, when it can be posted though.

I cannot confirm anything yet. I will say we are in talks to get this going and if things go well it may be more than just a forum post. In the mean time you guys should check out http://gamegavel.com. You can enter your pwned name in there as well as other gaming sites and auction off your goods for actual cash. As far as things here it IS being worked on, but it is very much a work-in-progress.
