Definitely a buy! This game is the best Ace Combat game so far, umm probably because it is the newest, still haven't beaten it and the story is very interesting.

Good game. Graphics were sweet. I love how they have a good amount of planes you can fly. Multiplayer was really good. They are also releasing a lot of dlc which is always nice to have.

good game. If you've flown one AC game, then you know what to expect

great graphics, good controls, decent soundtrack, and cheesy dialogue and story. Online is a little different than I expected(it doesn't rank based on kills but on points?! wTf!!) but once you get into it it's a good time. Looking for modern air combat that is more arcade than sim, look no further.

This game is sweet in online play

This game really kicks if you get it with the flight sticks. I mean people dish out $130 for a plastic Halo helmet that does nothing. At least for the extra cash here you get 2 Flight sticks you can actually use. I thought it was worth the extra cash

THE KING OF AIR COMBAT

Single player is fun!

Multiplayer will keep you playing

you dont have to do the full set with this game to keep up on whats going on but I would wiki if this is the very first one!

one of the best looking games, as far as graphics go, that I have seen for the 360. initially, the learning curve seems hard but it gets easier prety quickly

This game along with all the previous Ace Combats, does this series proud

I've played the previous Ace Combat games and they're all real good fun. Nothing makes you feel cooler than jumping in a jet and going full throttle blowing stuff up! This game had a great story and the cinematic for the cut scenes were great. The voice acting was good and quite believable. This game immerses you more than the others do. It doesn't have as many planes but you'll have lots of fun playing with the ones it does let you.

There's lots of extras you can unlock and it's fun to go back through the campaign with all your goodies and try a harder difficulty. The online is the only hitch for the game. I couldn't find any games under the non-ranked portion, and only two under the ranked. I joined one game and it was totally chaotic. Since the other players can pull off the same moves you can, they're harder and more of a pain to kill than the Strigon team members. There's no satisfaction because it's nearly impossible to skillfully kill other pilots. Your only strategy is to just fire lots and lots of missiles and hope they hit someone.

If you don't plan to play this online, it's a must have! Beautiful graphics and a great story make it a campaign worth playing through over and over. Your guaranteed to enjoy the single player, but wait for the next installment if you really wanted to get online.

Challenging at times... but still usually a rental as most jet games are.

Dalbo said at December 5, 2007 at 3:10 pm:

Definitely a buy. It's easy but still challenging. Lots of replay value. Plus no dogfight is ever the same as before.
