This was one of my favorite games growing up. the controls were never a problem for me, the only tricky part is the hand gestures, esp. with a laggy mouse. Very good game play and very unique story line.
An awesomely brilliant game, still got to be one of my favourites of the entirety of my life, and quite frankly the controls where never a problem for me... I found them workable and efficient for the most part, I myself don't see why everyone always complains about them.
I liked the game, especially flinging citizens across the islands or dropping trees on houses. I do agree the controls got a bit difficult.
I remember seeing this game on the shelves and thinking "damn, looks like a cool game". I still haven't played it.
I have heard countless times back in the day "this is one of the greatest games"...yeah right.. the concept was interesting but the controls were just too complicated, if you're playing god you shouldn't have to adapt, you is god, you makes the rules..just a thought..
