I'm using the laptop that my college gave to me, and I CAN'T EVEN PLAY THIS GAME! OMG it pwns me so hard =( I'm seriously dying to play it...I could just opt for the 360 version, but Xbox Live is a bitch to get at my school because of this stupid Sygate program...and I live out in the boonies when I go home, and we still can't get any highspeed so I'm running on DIALUP! I'm pwned. So pwned.

Out of luck.

Game Over.

I have to say, this is one of the most fun FPS I've ever played.

First off, I have a pretty 'decent' computer. I thought I was going to get laggy graphics (7600GT 512MB). To my surprise, the game was very smooth AND looked absolutely amazing.

The storyline is well written and told. I love all the cinematics. I just feel a bit sad that *spoiler* almost everyone[allies] died.

There's nothing really 'new' or 'original' about this game other than the modern weapons like the stinger, m4s,m16a1s,p90s, and g36cs. They were all accurate as I have shot them irl before.

Overall, great game!

Excellent Graphics, fast game play, great multiplayer, weapon balance, and it just basically rules.

By far one of the best FPSs I have ever played. I like the console version better though.

Truly an amazing FPS.

Deus Mortem said at February 6, 2008 at 6:32 am:

This is the most amazing FPS game created known to man. The singleplayer campaign is one of the best, and the multiplayer never gets old.

This deserves no less than a 10/10.

w00tdogg said at February 6, 2008 at 2:36 am:

I bought it for pc because I knew the multiplayer would be active longer, but I suck at it compared to the 360 multiplayer. I don't usually stink at pc fps multiplayer.

Loved this game, i got attached to my squad, which is a rare occurence in a game. the story is short because its basically a Multiplayer game. i loved the story even if it was short too, it gave an actual ending instead of the fade to black screen once completed. so in conclusion im very pleased with this game.

The single player is pretty fun. I see where you say it looks like an arcade. I agree that it's just to short. I've been a fan of the CoD series, and it just seems they've gone downhill since the original vcod. From the MP aspect. After you hit 55, it gets boring. With the CAL and Cevo cfg's it's a bit better. Other than that, I enjoy playing it for the competition right now. Until something else comes out. CoD5 will be back in the WWII era.

So maybe I am gong to be the first person to give this game a bad review?

I admit I had a lot of fun playing this game in single player, but I have some really big problems with this game that I will post in my blog, but for this short review I will say this.

Call of Duty 4 is an amazing visual game with a pretty solid story, realistic environments, a nice original music score and good voice acting. The developers have done the best job I have ever seen in creating a realistic looking FPS.

The game is very short. I finished it in about 12 hours on the second hardest level on my first run.

My main problem with this game are the fact that no matter how good the environment looks, this game is basically just an arcade shoot em up. Enemies just pop up and down like ducks in a shooting gallery and they can materialize out of nowhere until specific objectives are completed. If you want to finish this game quickly, just run to your objective as quickly as you can and let your team mates kill the enemies. Don't worry if you get shot 55 times you just regenerate . .

The multiplayer version is not well thought out. I will say more in my blog.

Call of Duty 4 is one of the best first-person shooters out there. The graphics are amazing, and the combat is very fast-paced with automatic weapons and quick respawns. The single-player has a great story-line. Then when you get to multiplayer you are simply addicted. If you don't have this game and you like FPS, then I suggest you smash open that piggy bank and grab yourself Call of Duty 4! I give this game a 10/10 OVER & OUT!

This game is freakin sweet. Idk if it's just because it was the dead of night, but the story seemed short the first time around. I'm probably just crazy. It doesn't get boring thought!

Stanger said at December 5, 2007 at 10:14 pm:

This game is amazing. Single player, in my book, beats HL2.
