I believe the DOA series is king of 3D fighters.. Right behind Powerstone for the sega dreamcast
it has a weapon triangle like srpg's: attack, throw, counter...awesome game!!
It's a lot of fun and looks great, but it lacks any real depth and the characters really aren't balanced. Still, if it weren't for Soul Calibur, DOA might be king.
This was a great fighter game on the xbox, the graphics were crazy, and the combat was addicting and entertaining.
Of the 3-d era...the Dead or Alive series is by far the best games of the fighting genre. At least in my opinion. Its not a button mashing frenzy unlike most.
