haha this was one of those games i looked forward to FOREVER.
and then of course the ending was like O.O... but hey physics gun and blue physics gun were probly the most fun.
I have so many of the HL series and I haven't had time to play them all...I want to play through the series. But this one is still amazing, and I'm pretty sure all of them are just as good.
An excellent game, a great plot that stays interesting throughout, pity about the Combine Troopers being a bit dull.
I just beat this -again-, the other day.
I can never say no to a good runthrough of HL2. Definitely one of the definable gaming moments of this decade :)
Half-Life 2 is a MUST HAVE for any gamer. It's inventive and amazing!

Half-Life 2 is a great game that defined the genre of physics-inclusive FPS games. From the great physics to the intense action scenes, and the amazing graphics of dark zombie infested cities and light combine infested citadel(s). This is a must try!

Not as good as HL1 but still a great experience that you can't miss out on.
At first it doesn't seem like anything special, but it gets better the further you go, and once you get the gravity gun things change completely, while the guns themselves are functional, but not superb, the gravity gun has to be one of the best creations in recent games history, the tactical implications are staggering: holding objects in front of you as shields, making barricades and bridges, your imagination is the only limit, so i'm going to give you one piece of advice: don't play this like a normal shooter, let your mind run wild, because the only things stopping you from doing something is your imagination, and how many objects are avvailable in the area. my favourite area has to be ravenholm, a dark, gothic, zombie infested town from hell, with a gravity gun. how can you possibly go wrong with that? once when i was low on health i locked about 10 zombies in a small room by stacking wardrobes over the doorway, then grenaded them through a hole in the barricade. thank you valve, for supplying us with a game that lets us properly explore our imaginations. ten out of ten!!
Must have for ANY half life fan. This will convert you once you play as well :D

HL2 a second set in the ever growing HL Series comes back to re-visit some of your past yet holding to an ever present future that has been rocked to the core. Aliens, Combine and hordes of other surprises lurk around every step in the City of City 17.
The game it's self is a work of art, after so long waiting for it launch, many were impressed with HL2 as the games more ever so farther to being almost real,
