the screen's constant moving is irritating but once you manage a few levels things get much more interesting. But in my opinion they did to much work for the simplelist weapon i mean cmon 3 different ways to knife a raptor??!! seriosly they could have spent that time on developing a better co-op mode.
The graphics are pretty good although I didn't appreciate the fact that Turok was modernized as opposed to past games. It seemed like the developers tried to hard with this one and the constant screen moving not only made me ill, but it was annoying when I attempted to even shoot at an enemy.
i played all of ten minutes of this game, i expected crazier weapons. it's not bad though, when i get bored i'll finish it.
the co-op could have been a lot better. you would think it would be the whole story like halo 3 or gears of war. not a chance. you get 3 missions and no selection of difficulty, its more than the inhuman setting on single player.
multiplayer online i'll agree with qwick about the stabbing. you would be crawling up for that stealth kill, but when you see "RT" flash up and you press it, nothing. just the lame stab. so the person you're trying to kill would turn around and start shooting at you. didn't have a problem shooting people though. also duel welding helps out. another thing is the camo that you have really doesn't help blend in that much, since some shrubs and ferns you can't really hide in.. love that invisible wall before it.
they should have a melee button not just to switch to your knife. but incase you're out of ammo in a fire fight, you should be able to rifle butt them or even use arrows to stab them, as long as you have them.
single story mode was good, playing through inhuman now, don't know why that was locked from the start, should have just been there.
i bought it, since i enjoyed the demo and some of my friends were picking it up. i suggest renting this as well.
I think the campaign is very interesting, i agree it's difficul but i don't have the same problems as Qwickkiller with killing people. I'm on the last boss and have to say very disappointed in the shortness of the game but lately it's a trend all games are just so damn short now a days. All i can say i watch ur back b/c half the time u think ur getting shot from the guy u see but actually getting shot from ur flank or someone with a high ground on you. I only recommend this for rental tho def. worth the money if rented imo. I don't know much bout multiplayer so can't comment on qwick's observations
the game is terrible for many reasons. You cannot stab anyone online trust me i tried, single player is odd but very hard even on easy or normal, it takes forever to kill someone but then they kill you in one shot, you can empty an entire clip into someone and they wont die...they just prance around you like a fairy...
overall the game is a complete waste of time same with this post
i played the demo didnt really like it but then again im not really into turok never was so i prob. not buy it
Not sure when this comes out, but it has to be simply amazing if its anything like the others.
