Hello from New Jersey, America's Armpit! I'm an 80's kid to the bone. Hardcore since '84! (Technically '82 but whatever). The 80's rocked: awesome movies, better music, and birth of epic video games. They were cool before cool was cool. I'm also big fan of dark beers and Diner food, preferably at the same time. To me the ideal of a Saturday night: some good brew, good friends and a good movie (or some drunk Guitar Hero, Wyld Stalions!)
I'm an old-school gamer, 8 bit graphics were my teachers and midi soundtracks were my lullabys as a child. Back when gaming was hard as hell and the only thing that stood between you and victory was the KONAMI code. That's not to say I don't enjoy some things that come out nowadays, as long as it has a good storyline or tight controls, I'm in. I mostly play SNES RPG's and anything Metal Gear (yes even Metal Gear Acid; its a guilty pleasure). When I'm not playing those, I'm blasting away at a SHMUP or duking it out in a 2-D fighter.
