Look at fatal1ty (the uber douche of gaming) he tried to be good at all fps's he has plated them all but fails at all but a select few but the few he does play he dominates, using him as an example cuz if your a gamer you should of at least heard of this man.Its sections like this that gamers with any professional or intelligence are gonna see and never log into this sight again. ![]() ![]() |

thanks for the input :: we can model ourselves after your success. does that work for you? the difference in professional gamers & all others is that they constantly seek ways to improve. that's why fatal1ty makes 6 figures more than you. He was not content with just competing. He looks at ways to better & expand eSports for everyone...even you. GFM is not making you a fit gamer - wii fit can do that :: this is making you better at competitive gaming Being the "game master" simply means using all the elements around you to have fun & get paid to compete :: this means avoiding injuries & maximizing game time :: didn't mean to offend anyone :: -- chaos GFM LIVE>>>GAME |

Model yourselves after my success? thats the problem you don't model yourself off other people fatal1ty your glorified e-hero didn't have someone he based himself off or compared himself to he was his own player. You speak of the difference between professional players and others is that they constantly seek ways to improve but you don't improve from reading what other people write or playing stupid flash games they may be entertaining but they dont make you a better player, being good at games is less physical ability and more mental its out-thinking and anticipating what they are gonna do. Fatal1ty may make more money but as for expanding and bettering gaming he does nothing of the sourt and if you weren't so sucked into the hype of him you might see that, if you ever saw him at lans he smacks talks and puts down other players, is this bettering the gaming community? Your GFM doesn't make them more competitive its makes them waste time learning techniques and excersizes from a no-body who hasn't even competed. "Being the "game master" simply means using all the elements around you to have fun & get paid to compete :: this means avoiding injuries & maximizing game time" wtf does that even mean I didn't take any manual and I didn't learn from anyone how to play competitively and I have lanned and I did make money and had fun doing it. How in the hell do you get injured playing video games? if you injure yourself sitting in your computer chair you need a damn helmet. Maximizing game time comes from proper sleep and how comfortable your setup is to you. You didn't offend anyone you just are lying to a whole community which is fine with me, if you really wanna improve peoples game skills talk to real pros and get them to offer lessons to groups of your member something productive. Until then all you kids trying to get into a competitive scene, 3 things, 1. Go get mirc ring and scrim whatever game your trying to get better at 2. Watch pros play and get a handle of basic strategy and mold it to your own play style and finally practice with people of a higher caliber until your better them and then move to the next tier. ![]() ![]() |

@MachineGunJesus .....your elaboration on your egocentric cynicism is noted. There's a few things I noted from reading your replies: 1.) You have problems absorbing new ways of learning. 2.) You think the only way to help someone out is your own. ...and finally, 3.) You suffer from a clear cut case of ignorance. .....Let me continue before you start twisting in your chair and hurt yourself. According to you the one that that is labeled Fatal1ty is, quote: "fatal1ty (the uber douche of gaming)". Assuming this means you believe him arrogant, perhaps a pompous bastard, or even a false sense of being higher up on the totem pole (hence the rest of your texts describing his attitude); we'll also take into account that your first post was just as you described he was and which you have become. Which would be rather, 'douche,' like for the lack of a better word. I won't defend the guy, I've never met him and that's not the point. The point is that your words described you, rather then your decree of him, to a T, simply put. As well, your accusations and defamation that you spread on the walls of chaos GFM's attempts to better and help a community in ways never even thought before are sickening. .....Now, an opinion is never forbidden, but the way things are said are not to be taken lightly, my friend. This being said, your tips in your latter post are well and good, but there are other things that it takes then just sitting and playing the game that have to be taken into account. How can you keep that sort of concentration? How can you keep that extreme unmoving focus and determination? How can you keep that edge on the competition? How do you have/get the quickest response time? How can you Master these skills to be the best that you can be at your passion? .....These are all questions that the GFM address' and you have to look at it as a tool. You wouldn't try to put together a well running engine without a wrench, or set to sea without a boat would you? The simple meaning of a, "Game Master," from what I understand, is not a matter of being good at everything, it's a matter of dedicating your life to what you love then taking everything you can learn from it and administrating it to your everyday life. --Vis |
