Hey guys! I'm building a PC for the first time! I want it to be nice, but I don't have a lot of cash.
Any advice? What kind of processor should I get? etc.

newegg.com and tigerdirect.com have very good prices on pc components. some are available as OEM parts(much less in price, same product on retail shelves)

if you dont have a lot of cash, then you shouldn't be doing this.

look at best buy's gateway computers and you'll see for the amount they cost you'll have a sweet rig for less than you would put in, building from scratch.
