Empty promises by Sun Microsystems
What really pissed me off about the article is that a while ago I'd heard the news Sun was acquiring MySQL and thought they would follow IBMs example. Unfortunately, they did exactly what most thought they were going to do with MySQL; separate it into two versions with the free version being light on features and an enterprise version that receives the star treatment. I may be jumping the gun here, but I read on kotaku that the new sonic game for the wii will be going back to it's platform roots. This makes me incredibly happy considering how $h177y sonic and the secret rings turned out. I'm pretty sure the secret rings was made to warn developers how not to use motion controls. Review: Why Assassin's Creed Fails
The review was pretty much dead on. Although, it was wierd that he didn't mention the crappy ending.

It all started christmas eve when I picked up Lego Star Wars II for two reasons: I thought it would be easy to get the achievement points and it was only $20 bucks. Unfortunately, I was completely wrong about the former.
