I'm strictly a PC gamer. Console games will never catch up to what makes computer games so great.
That being said, my gaming days go back to the Commodore 64. Anyone remember Karatika? DIDN'T THINK SO! The days I remember most were the 486 times on the wonderful DOS platform. The original Simcity, Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, all those wonderful Apogee games (Duke Nukem, Biomenace, Blake Stone, Raptor, Crystal Caves, Secret Agent, Halloween Harry, Rise of the Triad, Death Rally... the list goes on!), and my old favorite ZZT.
I'm currently employed by the US Navy, so I don't have the time that I used to for playing games, but I squeeze them in. I'm mostly an FPS player, but a few role playing and real time strategy games made their way into my routine.
May the faithful unite... Duke Nukem Forever will be the greatest game ever made.
My best friend is NyQuil.
