To set the records straight, my real name is David. I have so many aliases, in-game and out, I would prefer not to count. However, you fellow gamers may call me Death Knight, Death, DK, Shadowswift, Shadow, Ghost Stalker, Ghost, or if none of these suit your tastes, just call me Raven. You may not refer to me as anything else. If you do, I will not answer :P
I like stuff. Stuff is good. People say I'm funny, so throw me a bone and laugh every now and then. I like to think I'm a pretty smart motherfucker, though I'm not exactly the best student. I like to record mock radio shows, so maybe some day I'll be using my voice for a living. Im not a suit-and-tie kinda guy...I dress really 90's grunge, but I clean up pretty damn nice. I really don't look my age, which pisses me off. I am a TEXAS MAN. Born and bred. I say "Y'all", "Ain't" and "Howdy" quite often. Ranch-style Beans and dry toast is one of my favorite meals. I like MEAT, I am not in any way shape or form against eating meat. I'd eat a pig's ass if it's cooked right. I don't have the accent very much, because my parents are from Cali-fuckin-fornia, and they never taught it to me.
um...thats pretty much it
About me in games:
I play Quake 1, 2 and 3 Arena, but mostly Quake 1. I am an 11-year veteran of Quake 1. My skills are not amazing, but not to be taken lightly. In 2006, I made approximately 10,000 frags (statistics pulled from www.gamestatus.net, combining kill counts from RaVen X, Lord Arthas, Death Knight, and Ghost Stalker, the 4 aliases I used throughout 2006) I am a member of Clan Totally Useless (_tu), which is primarily Quake 1 and 2. I play Warcraft 3 from time to time, but I prefer not to play online. Only times I play online is when a buddy of mine wants to do a comp stomp or somethin like that. My account is on Azeroth, titled Ghost_Stalker. In World of Warcraft, my main is a Night Elf Warrior named Shadowswift, Level 70 at last. I'm diggin on the guild Purification right now. You'll find me on the Norgannon server. As I mentioned earlier, I record mock radio shows. My show is a "Podcast" sorta thing called Quad-cast station. It's a monthly show that revolves mainly around Quake 1, so therefore, it has only a small listening audience. Hopefully someday, my show will gain a little more fame, though I don't ever expect to be payed for it. Ha...I play my PS2 from time to time. Games like Devil May Cry, God of War, Kingdom Hearts, and Dirge of Cerberus quickly rose to the top of my favorites. Final Fantasy is pretty good sometimes too. Once they get all the kinks out, and release a few more games...not to mention once I have the proper funding, I will purchase a PS3. I have a 360 (sorta) and I play mostly Call of Duty 4 on that. I don't support modern-day Nintendo. The way they cater to gaming now-a-day has no appeal to me. After the Super Nintendo, my support for them pretty much died. I do, of course, have a Gameboy though. I am not a competative gamer! I play for fun, not to be better than others. Those gamers that do have my full respect, but I just don't find any happiness when being hard-core competative at games, regardless of whether I win or lose. Sure, there is always an element of competition in the games I play, especially Quake. Warcraft 3 has its competative moments, and there is always PvP in World of Warcraft. But it's the element of fun that I value in a game, not being better than other players. This is why you'll never see me at CPL or Quakecon, or any other pay-to-play tournaments unless I'm spectating. I've been gaming since i was 3, and I'll probably be a gamer the rest of my life. But due to my lack of competative spirit, my name will never be known for gaming by anyone. Sad, but true.
