*SPOILER ALERT*

I just finished reading reading Star Wars : Legacy of the Force : Invincible, the conclusion to the Legacy series.  I'm very disappointed by it for many reasons.  For one, I brought this book into work and started reading at 4pm... I finished it at Midnight with breaks in between to actually work.  THE BOOK WAS TOO DAMN SHORT!  The beginning of the story was good with Jaina and Boba Fett fighting with the Verpine.  It was a great start to the book.  Another reason the book sucked was that the transitions between events were non existent!  You're here then all of sudden its a week later somewhere else.  The previous book set up a this book to be SO action packed, but the action was far lacking from the last one.  There was no mention of Niathal or the Confederacy or Wedge!  3 big components of the Legacy series. 

We (if you're nerdy enough to read these books) all knew Jacen/Caedus was going to die, but wow!  Can you make it any more anti-climactic?!  And even when he's about to die, it almost seems as if he's redeeming himself trying to save his child... sounds a little Vader to me.  The first encounter between Jaina and Jacen was good though.  I enjoyed that part of their duel.  The end though... sucked.  They should have let Karen Traviss write the ending to this series.  She did a wonderful job at LotF: Sacrafice... that book actually made me cry (i'm gay,  i know) I just loved Mara Jade.

I wish enough people hated the ending that the writers decided to REDO the conclusion book.  I know it won't happen, but I wish.
