for those of you unaware ep.Zero was me testing the water and i never intended to take it off of freinds only, HOWEVER!!! everyone seemed to like it...well atleast no1 seemed to hate it...

(oh and rest assured E.Zero will be revisited but the point of my blogging is just to talk about life as a gamer and so forth...so im gona give it a blog or 2 before i head back to the boy v girl or love scenarios)

so gamers and life...

we have all heard the catagories of gamers before, from the nerd, to the drunk, to the jock, to the house wife with 23 kids in a trailor >.<

we all can assume we know ourselves well enough to fall into a catagory...

pshhh...

wtf do we base that off of?  I mean i have had numerous discussions with people about how they dont believe some of these catargories of gamers are valid...

EXAMPLE! (no u wont agree but im taking this from our community, and remember were all still individuals were gona have different points of views within groups...)

Nerds - will give credit to jocks playing games even if they only play sports or whatever they can still live with them getting the gamer title, however these same nerds who know the jocks can also fit into the drunk catagorey will totaly disreguard a drunk as a gamer...I have repeatedly been told, IN GAME NO LESS, that the simple fact i mentioned i was enjoying a beer meant i needed to get off a game because they cant have people playing around...uhh...arent video games supposed to be fun? and if ur so pro shouldnt u be able to make up for one guy that isnt playing bad just not the way u like o.0

Jocks - i have yet to meet a hardcore gaming jock that believes a social/collector gamer id worth anything...EHY GUESS WHAT! I F'N BOTH! wana guess where that convo goes to?  I had an hour long yelling fight in a XBL private chat with a guy trying to convince me that I'm not a gamer because i play games without getting achiements...hes like, LOOK AT UR GAMER CARD looks to me like the only thing u dont suck at is UNO...:D that one was fun, i began to bombard him with video game facts from around the world (truth be told i made some up but he believed them, haha was funny) and descriptions of fights from entire games hes played and are on his play list...needless to say in the end we got to talking cause i used to play football and water polo and was a swimmer for 13 years including swimming with Amanda Beard who was an olypic medalist...Flabergasted by my deffencive yet apparently effective shouting in his ear semi tangented us to the point that we starting talking about when ur playing games with people online over something like XBL, not only is it hard to actually talk talk to peple cause we all think each other are random dumb shits and dont wana listen to them tell us how to play game we believe were better then them at...and we came to an understanding referencing Samurai-X (anime) and the way Kenshis master tells him it is foolish to argue with one who will not listen...WE ALL DONT LISTEN! in my experiance atleast...i mean im just as guilty if not more so >.<

like i said i was gona get into myself...

really i want to be typing this about the ways i have observed gamers evolve over the years...(those of u who know me well are aware my claim to fame is that i was surfing the internet before sony had a web site and i played video games way back when follopys were actually floppy)

*sorry i tangent myself constantly and no my grammer and spelling wont get better cause this in the only way i can type even half decent...

So i regret to inform u i decided i was lame...

sorry u cant change my mind thats what my roommates are for and they are very good at it...as a matter of fact they believe realizing this will make vagina litteraly flock to me -.- yea girl told me that but i call bs none the less...

well at one point in my life i kicked everyones ass at every game i played, i participated in afew online tournaments here and there and even took home some money acouple of times however this was before there were profesional gamers getting sponcered and all that jazz...well being at the top of highscore lists is cool till u realize people are purposly learning how to play to beat u specifcaly...

DO NOT GET ME WRONG IT WAS KICK ASS!!! untill i realized to keep up with that kinda crap i gota play like 10 hours a day every day -.-

i have a job i cant do that...

even way back when i had a job, i have just worked for a really long time...

well over the years i have made more and more money, nothing that impressive or anything but a steady income that goes up is quite a pleasnt thing to have...

well heres where i fig'd out i was lame...

i make all this money and i live a rather simple life...plus i am a gamer by heart and nature...and yet i dont have the time to mr. hardcore gamer, i need sleep or i dont get paid and i cant buy all my nifty toys...so i now cross platform to such an extreme i lack skills in EVERYTHING i am not noob but i am far from skilled...

this is lame for a gamer no matter how u wana try to shine a nice light on it for some1 thats been doing this and a part of the community for as long as i have this is MEGA LAME!

i have become some weired twisted sideshow freak that seems to have time traveled from the drunken not giving a damn days of my (and most other peoples) senior year of highschool, HOW CAN THAT NOT BE LAME!!!

i play games, i chat, i drink, i party, i go meet people that i have met online, i invite people over to my place to meet without much fear...i dunno im just all around master of nothing :/

so theres only one place i can fall...social gamer...what a sad turn of events...i mean really...but this is what life and work does...

FINNALY MY POINT THAT INVOLVES THE REST OF U!!!

for the most part hardcore gamers are dying off...

its simple fact...

i personaly believe this started with the origonal XBox...

now there are many that will claim i have no idea what i am talking about but sorry from where im standing this is how it went down...

we all remember the N64 and thats where most peple will claim playing video games was officaly ok with the cool kids on the block...I CALL BULL SHIT! it was a freaking nintendo...nintendo has always made the fun machine and priced it resonably so parents would buy them for kids neway -.- but the XBox, now there was a bastard of a console...born from microsoft and marketed as if it was a show coming out on fox the xbox hit the store shelves with furious rage in California...it was by far the most interesting group of gamers i had ever seen before...im used to sitting in line with asians of all shapes and sizes, soccer moms with armys of kids, and doofy white dumbasses ranging from pocket protectors to to pimply pizza workers...well not for the xbox...oh hell no...for the xbox launch (i didnt buy one, i was just there) i saw maybe 1 person that resembled what i was used to seeing and he was way at the back and probably wouldn't get one...

what i found in the line was a bunch of skaters smoking pot, a bunch of grease monkeys drinking whiskey, and no joke an entire group of gardeners drinking tquila, other than that u just got u or jock or random stoner here and there...these people don't have PS2's they dont have Gameboys...they were all here because XBox marketed and being some hardcore crazy new shit thats it, they saw it as bad ass and the PS2 as a gaming system for nerds...WELCOME TO THE REVOLUTION! now were all gamers cause they got on and realized real fast that this was the shit and they needed more and more...

we are no longer bound by any form of nerdom for being gamers instead we are all in the same boat, young old, fucked up or straight edge, were all gamers and wether we want to unite under one banner or stay seperate for the sake of perosnal glory its all gona end up at the same place...FUN!

this isnt business so cut this serious bull shit out unless your in a tournament...

i mean in all honesty gamers have such a borad range of peronalities and personal styles that the hackers manifesto wouldnt even need much of an edit to reference gaminmg instead (unless we cracked jokes then we'd need a massive revision to talk crap on 5year olds with mic's).

all in all were community so stfu and play nice...have fun or i will personaly kick u right in the ass...AND MOST OF ALL REMEMBER WERE ALL SIMILAR WETHER WE ACT LIKE IT OR NOT!!!

Late disclaimer...this was written at work and has 3 more than hour long stops in it so following thru with my thoughts is something im sure i failed at...

course that also made it short enough to read without a bathroom break :P

neway to all those out on the web who find my nonsence actually insightful or entertaining i thank you for reading and hope when my life calms down a bit i will have time to give you some grand tohughts and rants where i dont have big breaks in the middle of my typing ^^
