Metal Gear Solid 4 Playthroughs

4 Bumps

Mood: Normal


It's the eve of MGS4 Day so what better thing to write about than the playthroughs I plan to, um, er, play? So, here we go.

My first playthrough will be on Naked Normal and will be a mix of stealth and action, I won't be trying to unlock anything and will be mainly playing for the story.

The second playthrough will be on Liquid Easy and my goals will be to unlock the Infinite Ammo Bandana and the Stealth Camouflage. This playthrough will be a pure sneaking mission with no kills, I expect it to take my a while to beat this, yes even on easy.

My third playthrough will be on Naked Normal again but this time I'm going to go in Rambo Style. If I get the Stealth Camo and Bandana I'll try for a few emblems, even if I don't I'm still going in Rambo style.

I may or may not do a fourth but if I do it'll be on Solid Normal and will once again be a pure stealth mission. I'll probably kill some people but mostly try to go through it without doing so.

So, to everyone else who is getting MGS4 what do you plan on doing in your playthroughs?

First Run Through: No unlocks, quickest runthrough possible, stealth or kills depending on the situation



Second Run Through: Stealth Style, no kills, absolute efficiency, playing through on the hardest possible because I plan to fight no enemies. Going for unlocks stealth camo and bandana.



Third Run Through: Emblems + rambo style, hard again



Fourth: Kill Shit + Have Fun :)



Fifth and so on: BLAST THEM FOO's

This is the first i've heard of all the multiple features, but since I always keep to the stealth aspect and only not use the tranq if I really don't need to, i'll go the stealth route.



Then play again maybe pretending to be John Rambo.. which is quite fitting seeing as the bluray comes out of that film in 11 days and i'm picking that one up too haha
