Mood: bloggerhead - new catch of the day
Ok, so we took off on July 4th. It was a spare of the moment thing for me. Well technically it was planned out months before for a different camping site but due to the fact that fire season hit the place, the plan was cancel. An alternate plan was to be created for a different camp site. Instead of a week of stay, the plan was for the weekend. The days were only a coincident that July 4th weekend happened to be the first thing that comes to mind.
First night of camp was one hell of a windy day. Well let me go before that to the road trip on the way to camp. The camp site, Lake Isabella, is close to Bakersfield and street way called weed patch. Well the car front of us that we were following was lost. Yeah I’ll add on some names on this cause well no one knows them. Yeah so in front car was Tracy and Ron. Even further in from of them in the car was Brian, peter, Alvin and Teresa. The ride I was riding was with, Jan, Kris and Kevin. We were lost a couple of times.
Well once we were there, it was fairly hot and my cousin was already at the camp site reserving the area. There was no shade close by and no trees to piss on to help out nature. Well we set up camp and were unexpectedly blown away by the winds. Well our camp was close to the hills and often when a naked hill or a mountain has no vegetation; it normally means the winds are at its full force due to the fact that wind is curved when some object is slightly in its way. So a huge wind blew our way. We couldn't even have a decent chance playing chest without having the light weight pieces being blown away. As soon as night fall fell, we had some drinking games going and the winds were still blowing heavily. A few of our tents were broken and couldn't be lifted to its full height in the fears of having it blown away. Well during that time in the drinking gaming, I was chittering with Courtney, Brian and Amanda through my cell's aim. For some reason, there are some people I want to speak to but can't cause their accounts just wouldn't show up. Well thank you for keeping me company and thank goodness my batteries was still alive. Speaking staying alive, on the way to the camp site while we were in the canyons, there were posting with the letters "STAY ALIVE." I find that interesting and awkward yet funny at the same time. To me those words resemble all the scenario scenes of zombie types of movies and video games such as resident evil, silent hill and parasite eve in my mind.
Next morning I was bright and early to check out the lake while the mood was calm and settling. I spoke to a local fisherman and did some investigating as to how much people died or drown in the lower end of the creek river. He tells me "28 people drown on the lower end of the river. It’s much safer on the top end of the river." It’s just shocking to hear that. Well once everyone was up and ready, we had a short moment to pack up camp and relocate before the arrival time to jet sky took place. My cousin had to take off from camp for the reason of his swollen leg. He busted a nerve. Well once we relocated and unpacked everything we had to make two groups so one group can keep watch of the items left behind. I wasn't waiting for anything to ride the jet skies so I went with the first group which was, Ron, peter, Jan, Tracy and I.
Tracy, Jan and I were at the docks to check in for jet skies. We went out in pairs since we only had 2 jet skies that we've acquired. Jan and Tracy were on the other jet sky while I had a jet sky all to myself. I was cautious at first 'cause well I didn't want to fall and the rally area on the other side of the lake. Once we were at the rally point, I took a ride with my bro, Jan to see the max speed of the jet sky. I have to say it's pretty exhilarating. I was giddy with evil laughter of exciting me. Never felt so alive in a long time. Well the session was over and I left back off into the waters again, alone with just the jet sky all to myself again, woohoo!! Boy, oh boy is it a blast! Kind of like a mini scooter on water. Revving up the throttle as fast as I can just to snake it or do some mean ass drift in the waters. Ron was on the other Jet Ski and well I showed him the place where we rented the jet sky while I was trying to lose him. I love the way the spray of water hits my skin and face while i'm smiling like a mad man on some series of excitement. well our session was over had to give up the jet skies to the other half of the party as they arrived and left the camp unwatched over.
Well one last ride and I was paired up with Ron as drive. As soon as we got on the jet sky, the thing starts to flip over on up. Then it flips over again. Don’t know why but my intuition for knowing something was going to happen, didn't kick in. maybe it was just the spare of the moment but I should have known none the less. Once we were out in the middle of the lake, the thing starts to flip over on us again....and again. It wasn't until our 5th roll over did it work fine or supposedly. I was like wtf! Why does this shit happen to me? Well let me start with the weight factors 200lb Ron and 160lb me = 360lb, I’m expecting that not to be a good mix for weights. Little did I know, the jet sky was filled with water due to flipping over several times before our sessions were up. I had the think fast let my ass get dragged on the side cause well heavy-fuck Ron didn't look like he was suited to get dragged on the side. While I was on the side of the jet sky, I was gulping on water and nearly getting bare naked cause my shorts as well as boxers were getting pulled away. I had to catch my breath for a short moment. Shortly before that there were a few attempts of help from others. I should have taken those chances. Well anyways the tower sent for us finally arrived and took us back to shore. While he was there he emptied the bucket full of water.
On the way to the camp site and set up everything, my lower end of my knees and above my shins were so painful from flipping over the jet sky so many times. Maybe the adrenaline wore off or maybe something else but I sure could feel the pain and see the bruises finally showing up. It’s been like that the whole day were entered the camp. All my electronic devices were all dead too. Don’t know how I’m going to keep myself sane for another night besides beer. Well another fire lit night and the sounds of 4th of July booms were airing the skies above. Half the group followed through to check out the fireworks only to find out that the fireworks were blocked off a hillside. So we only saw the effects and heard the sounds.
Next morning, my bruises are showing red and the night was sleeping soundlessly. Felt well rested. this is where I end my trip and stay alive cause all my electronics died out on me and caught the first ride leaving back home. I don't want to spend another night not knowing the time and not speaking to several people on pwned.
