OK so here are my top 5 consoles for me....

1. Super Nintendo (SNES)

I was a huge Nintendo fan growing up and still a huge today. But I also enjoy a lot of Sega games as well but I never owned most Sega consoles growing up like Genesis and Dreamcast. I instead owned a Sega Saturn which didn't do so well lol.(In the US anyway) But I did like playing some of the games on the Saturn like Virtua Fighter 2 and NiGHTS into Dreams to name a few.

But I played the SNES like crazy back in the 90's and I owned the most games on that system too. Following with the N64 later.
Games like Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, Zelda 3, Super Metriod, Donkey Kong Country, Yoshi's Island, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy III US (VI JP) On the SNES alone for me and that's not even HALF of the games on there. For the N64 Mario 64, Starfox 64, Goldeneye 007, and my favorite game of all time Zelda Ocarina of Time.

I later bought the PS2 b/c of games like FFVII b/c the as you know the PS2 plays PS1 games as well. So I enjoyed PS1 and PS2 games like the Metal Gear Series on the PS2. The 360 is what I play most of the time now. And the NES is what intro me to video games.

Mostly for sentimental reasons, though it wasn't technically my first console, it's the first one I remember playing for hours on end. I'm also a sucker for the old sprites.

2. PSOne

Again, sentimental here. Also, not only has a lot of my favorite games, but has ports of older games I couldn't otherwise acquire. Oh, and it's tiny.


3. XBOX 360

My personal favorite of the current consoles... possibly only because I haven't played either of the others.

I chose the Dreamcast as my number one because it had some of the best games I've ever played. With the likes of Power Stone, NFL 2K, Gundam: Rise From the Ashes, and many more it has made the system one of my all time favorites. Aside from the games it had a nice controler and the minigames you could play on the memory card were fun.

I Chose the Playstation One as my all time favorite console of all time because the best game ever created Final Fantasy 7 was an exclusive. Plus that was the birth place of Metal Gear Solid. And i believe the PS1 is the "real" birth place of the JRPG. And JRPGs are my favorite videogames. The only reason that the PS1 beat the dreamcast IMO is because of FF7
