Games I'm Looking forward to get broke to

8 Bumps

Mood: excited!

I've been so excited, and so has everyone else, for all the new games coming out this month and of November. Does anyone realize how broke everyone will be after these two months pass? For those who work, pay bills, buy groceries, support their kids (if any), and no longer get treated as the spoiled baby by their parents should understand this. Unless you have a good paying job or are rich, you might find it hard to purchace all of these tempting game that will be released (including games that are already released that people still haven't bought).

I'm not saying that everyone wants ALL of the upcoming games, but a majority of people want at least 2 or 3 of them. Just two games will add up to over $120. Four will be over $240. That's alot of fucking money to spend within one month on video games.

I know it's hard NOT to just run to EB and burn a hole in in your wallet. But being patient is the best thing people can do to get these games without feeling guilty about spending alot of money within 2 weeks.

What I do is get the most of TWO (newly released) games in a month. I usually just get one because even $60 seems expensive to me. So, I have to "suffer" by playing one 1 of 6 newly released games while spoiled brats get all of the games because their still being supported by their parents. ARGGGG!

OR

You can wait 'til the prices of certain games drop, which can take about 4-6 months after it's released and it also depends on how popular it is. This causes me to "suffer" alot more but it's more money in my pocket.

No matter what, I'm always behind when it comes to the latest video games.

I need to be patient as I just don't have the time to play as much as I'd like to.

I'm going to get Left 4 Dead soon, as well as Dead Space (PC version) Fallout 3 will have to wait as I'm still playing Oblivion.

Not interested in Far Cry 2 or Saints Row 2, at least yet. Fable 2? now sure...

I am ONLY interested in left 4 Dead (PC) :P So no burden on my wallet! I MIGHT get Guitar Hero 4 this month but I doubt it. Great game, not worth dishing out that kind of cash for though. I'll try to get just the software and pick up a new guitar later. We'll see. Team Fortress 2 is all I need at the moment.

thats good. i want at least 4 games lol

Yeah, this month alone is hard, but it's going to be nothing compared to next month. The day Nov. 11th is going to be the worst day of my gaming life. Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts (which if you pre-order you get the original game for free), Call of Duty 5, and Mirror's Edge. All on the same day =( The only thing helping me is the fact that even if I did go out and buy all of them there's no way I'd have to time to even play them. So I guess I'll just buy CoD5 because of the replay value later on and rent the other two. As far as all the other games... I don't really have a plan right now. I'm already sad that I didn't get either Dead Space or Saints Row 2 today.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK ^_^
My debit card is going to melt after these 2 months.. I am soooo excited for this line up..
I've preordered everything already.. and don't forget the hugely expensive Guitar Hero 4: World Tour..

wow, all those games listed look like they'll be pretty good. Too bad it's gonna add up to around $700 to get all :( I 'spose i'll have to settle for Fable and Gears and *shudder* rent the others

ARRGGG the only two that i want are fallout3 and gears2 but still thats a lot of green thank god for grandparents!! woo i have gears fully preordered/payed off and now i have to get my grandparents to buy me fallout3!!

i think i should have a "give irene a dollor for video games fund"

I was just talking about this problem with a buddy of mine earlier today. Too many damn good games coming out this month. I will have to sell a lung or something it seems. I like the spoiled brat part being crossed out. haha ;)

well, my plan is to go to the nearest bank or liquor store and rob it with a double barrel shotgun......kidding, the good news is that i am making good money selling on ebay, that way i have plenty of time to play, party and study university, so i will definitely get all of them, but one at a time otherwise i will go crazy, the problem is to decide wich one first and wich one will be tha last :)

i know. so many games to choose from

they are only a problem if you dont pay them on time.. Thats when all hell breaks loose!

iNDustRiaL iRene said at 10/13/2008 12:55pm:

yeah. a big reason why ppl shouldn't take advantage of credit cards. ahhh

Well luckily for me i dont like very many next gen games so i have no problem trading them in for new ones. Im trading COD4 because i know damn well when gears 2 comes out COD4 will never see the light of day again. My gears 2 is already just about paid off thanks to COD4, and the bet i made with the Oakland raiders losing. So gears is already mines. Now to work on fable 2.

But the best thing to do in this situation is get the best 2 or 3 games that will suit you. Times are hard right now so you gotta sacrafice. Another thing you can do is use a credit card so you dont have to pay the full amount right on the spot. I plan on gettin my games spending little to NO cash from my bank account. I work 2 hard for my money and will NOT allow it to go away without an epic battle.

So I have to find a way to get the following.
Gears 2 (check)
Fable 2 (almost check)
Resistance 2 (pending)
Motorstorm 2 (pending)

Do what you gotta do but dont let those peasants get into your wallet!
