7 Bumps

Hey guys! As most of you know i was in a car wreck and was in the hospital for a good while. Nitro had written a blog to inform you guys and i was reading the responses while in the hospital. It meant the world to me. To know i was missed and had a a lot of support.


The morning of May 18 I was traveling to work. I only made it about two miles down the road and then the accident happened. I do not remember any of it, at all. But my car was hit almost directly head on, but just ever so slightly on the drivers side. My dashboard caved in around me, gashing my knee caps horribly. I was hit by a utility van with four men in it. Either they pulled out in front of me, or i veered into their lane. We are not sure because the police report is not available yet.

I was rushed immediately to the ER. My family was able to see me before I went to the ICU. They said I was unidentifiable.They could not even really tell it was me. I had broken my left foot in two places, broken the socket off of my hip, cracked two ribs, and had many major gashes and was losing lots of blood. They went ahead and preformed two major surgeries and stapled my knees and stitched my head.

I was placed in the ICU and stayed their for four days. I was then FINALLY moved to a regular room. I was released on Thursday the 28th of May. I will continue to be bed ridden/ in a wheel chair for the next three months. I am so so so happy to be home though. And once we get the police report i will get everything straightened with the insurance company and see how much money i will be receiving.
