Google Uses Portal For Programming Competition

So we all know that google is a super-computer trying to take over the world, even if there are real humans there working on the machines and systems. At least that is what the beast wants us to believe. Now there is further proof that my tin-foil hat is totally needed for the world. Well somewhat at least. More like, we can watch the best of the best in coding go up for a challenge.

Tirade aside, google is hosting a programming contest that looks like an AI type coding endeavor. Mainly the second round here is what I am pointing out, mainly because it is also kind of cool. Programmers are given a Portal map and the use of the two gun mojo. With this, they need to have their program figure the fewest steps needed to get through the map to the glorious cake at the end. Kind of cool. Didn't read much into the site due to my busy time line, but that be the gist.
