My RL name is Chris, I pretty much use my alias for everything, witch is VTB_UltraS606. VTB is the clan that I'm in (Vote To Ban). I use the clan tag multiple platforms as well like Wii, DS, 360, and what not.
I suppose my story is like everyone elses.. well not everyone. I've been playing video games since I was 3. The first gaming console I had was a Sega Genesis, and my fav. game for it was of course Sonic The Hedgehog. Three years passed by, my Genesis broke( don't ask how...). I got an N64 the following year. I have a lot of favorite games for that system. I still have it, I don't think I will ever get rid of it. It just brings back a lot of memories. Two years later I got an NES as a gift from a family friend, with a lot of games. Unfortunately that system didn't last too long with us(btw the Genesis, N64, NES belonged to both me, and my brothere). In 2001 I got a Game Cube, and the first game I got with it was SSBM. I don't have my GCN anymore, as I gave it to a friend that didn't have any thing to play(I tend to be pretty generous at times). I use my Wii to play the games now. Shortly after I got the Game Cube I got the PS2 for the sole purpose of playing Vice City. But after I got my PS2 there were a lot of games out there that I really liked. I still have the (older version) PS2.
Just about after I got the PS2 I got a GBA. I didn't really get much games for it though. My next handheld was the DS. I got this a month after it came out. I still to this day carry the same one in my pocket.. That's right not a Lite. About a year after I got my DS the PSP came out. You'll never guess the reason why I got that in the first place *cough GTA *cough. I have 4 movies for it. Now a days I just use it for music purposes. 2 years later when the Wii came out, it took me 3 months after release to get it.. Long story how. I now use it to play online with others, mess around with it's features, and play the VC games that I grew up playing. I love it :D
about 4 months after I got my Wii, I got an Xbox. I pretty much used it for music. I only had about 3 games for it. I didn't have the Xbox for much longer. I gave it to a friend who had a TV, but nothing to do with it(seriously). He was a really close friend, so I figured that it was appropriate, and I knew he would take care of it.
Early last year I got my 360. I don't have a way to connect to the internet where the system is, plus the router is more that 200 feet away from it. So I am barely ever on live unless I'm at someone elses place. I don't play my 360 much. I only have... 4 games for it(sad I know). This will change soon.. you'll see ;)
Now I have a PC, and not a very good one at that. I will admit that my computer is a piece of crap. That is why I need to build a new one. However it isn't too bad for a dump PC... That's right this heap was made from dump parts.. well except for the monitor, video card, keyboard, mouse, speakers, and headset.
I know that my gaming history sounds pretty cliche. However there is more. :)
Mii Wii storii.
Well I didn't get my Wii at the time everybody else did. Simply because I didn't have the money to, so I figured I'd wait a little longer 'til the price drops, and wait for more to come out. The price didn't drop however, and I really wanted a Wii. A little after Christmas was over with I was calling up every place that sold it in the whole south eastern part of CT, and some parts in RI.. every day. Things were going like that for about 3 months. One day however going through my daily routine, I called up a Wal Mart close by to me, and they were having a release at midnight.. yaa 3 months in, I know. So I went to it around 9:30, and waited for it. I had my cel on me, so then I spend the next 2 and a half hours talking to a couple buddies of mine(3 way). So then the doors opened up, we all got our Wii's. I got Zelda Twilight Princess with mine, better than that other one that was also a Wii launch game.. you know the one. I opened my Wii when i got home that night, and played it 'til about 3 in the morning. It was great! ^_^
[Update]
The Dark Age(s): There comes a time where things just don't work out, or when you have to make some sacrifices. Over the past couple months or so I've had to do a lot of things, and some problems have come my way. My 360 got the red ring about 3 months ago, and I just haven't gotten around towards sending it in. My old Steam account got hacked, I couldn't play any of my games online. I had to make a new account, and buy some of the games back that I had before, not even 1/4 of the ones I had before. I have been having a lot of internet trouble for quite some time now. I've had to sell a lot of my games on certain occasions. I've been looking all over for work, so I can make money and keep things going, hell I'd be alright working two jobs, although technically I will if I get hired somewhere else real soon. So I just hope for the best.
